Angels or Virtual Visions II: The Awakening

It was about six months later when I was working on the computer checking some projects when Andrew suddenly appeared.

     “Hello, Daniel!  How are you?”
“I am fine, Andrew.  It is good to see you.  Are you here to check up on our progress?”
“Unfortunately, no!  I am not here for that.”
“Oh, why are you here then?”

Just when Andrew was about to answer, another angel appeared.

“Did you tell him yet,” he said to Andrew.
“No, not yet!  Daniel, this is Michael.  We are here because we need your help.”
     “How can I help, Andrew?”

“What I am about to tell you, may shock you, but you need to hear it.  In the year when the numbers repeat themselves like
2020,1919, 1818 etc. there is always an epic war between good and evil.  Your job is to help find the warriors who will participate
in this battle and help convince them to fight. You need to help them remember that this is what they agreed to when they were in
heaven. We talked about how you decide everything about this life before you come down.  What most people fail to realize is
they just don’t remember what they agreed to do, but it is necessary for their growth.  It takes some people a long time to trust
God and begin to do His work.  Do you remember when we talked about this?”
“Andrew, is this some kind of joke, or another test?  Are you really being serious?  This is like something out of a movie!”
“I assure you, Daniel, this is no joke!”
“He is correct in what he speaks,” Michael said.

“Andrew, may I ask a question first?”
     “Sure,” Andrew said.
“Why?  Why is there a battle between good and evil?  Can’t God just take care of it?  Come on, he is God!  Is this an angel fight or
     human fight?”
“That is a good question, Daniel!  Without life, there can be no death, and without death, there can be no life.  Without good, there
can be no evil.  Do you remember this conversation?”
     “Yes, I do!”

“It has a lot to do with free will and the choices people make.  None of us are the same, but we all have the same choice to make
the most of any given situation.”
“Andrew, may I remind you that I am human and may not comprehend what we are talking about.”
“I am sorry, Daniel; I sometimes forget that.  How about an example?”
     “That would be very helpful.”

“You are walking at the mall and a store is being robbed.  The robber drops all the money from the third floor.  There are hundreds
of people that see this happen.  You have several choices.  Hence, none of us are the same, but we all have the same choice to
make the most of any given situation.  What do you do in this situation?”
“Are you asking me what I would do or what is the correct choice?”
“I want to know what you would do.”

“I would get as much money as I could and return it.”
     “Why?”
“Because it is not my money, and it is the right thing to do!”
     “Did this example help?”
     “Yes, thank you.”
“But I am still a little confused?”

“Daniel, part of what you did, trying to turn people back to God.  Writing everything down, getting yourself in the best shape
possible, etc.  That was not only to help people remember, but to mentally and physically prepare you for what is to come!”
“Are you telling me that playing those four sports was a test within a test?”
“Yes, we needed to make sure you would be able to do what is needed to be done.”
“And, what exactly needs to be done?”
“Daniel, how many apostles were there?”
“Seriously, you are asking me that question?”
     “Humor me.”
     “Twelve.”
“Correct! Each one holds a page to a very special book.  A book that will help fight this battle.”
     “What book?”
“All in good time, Daniel!  All in good time!”

Andrew stared at me, and I felt as though his gaze went right to my soul and said, "Looks like that hole in your heart is better.  I am glad; however, I need to give you your homework assignments," he continued.

"I have homework, again," I exclaimed!
“Yes, you do!  You need to do two things.  First, you need to tell your family about our conversation.  They need to know what is
about to happen.  Second, you need to make sure you are still in the best shape possible, both physically and mentally.  Believe
me, you will understand shortly.  I will be back in one week.”
"Ok, Andrew, I will get it done."
     “And Daniel.”
     “Yes, Andrew?”
     “Have faith.”
     “I do, Andrew.”
“I hope you are ready because you have no idea what is about to happen!  Nooooo idea!"

Shortly after that, Daniel and Michael disappeared.  I still had so many questions.  What book?  Was there really going to be a battle?  How was I going to help?  What did Andrew mean “Nooooo idea”?  The last time he said that, my life totally changed.  Little did I know, it was about to change again, but this time, I thought I was ready!
